Biography
Joana Ling is a Singaporean born in 1949 and graduated from the Singapore Educational Institute. She migrated to Hong Kong in 1972 and took up contemporary art there and settled in Macao in 1980 and started her art creativity.
She was awarded with the Macao Foundation Scholarship to take up contemporary modeling art in the AR.CO Arts Institute in Lisbon in Portugal. She participated in many individual and collective exhibitions internationally and won the Honorary Award at the 1993 Macao Biennial Art Exhibition and the Philip Morris Singapore Art Award in 1994 and published 3 individual painting albums and 2 joint painting albums.
