Biography

Mr. Lei Iok Tin, also known as “Tian Bo” is a renowned photographer in Macau. Born in 1918 in Xinhui County of Guangdong Province, he grew up and studied in Macau. At the age of eighteen he started his career in the photography industry, following the Macau historian Huang Wenda. He has worked as a photographer in many major studios in Hong Kong and Macau for more than half a century, has experienced many ups and downs and has witnessed the history of Macau unfold. “Tian Bo” is a photography enthusiast who just keeps on giving without asking for anything in return. He takes documentary photography for pleasure and to entertain others as well as himself. Even at the age of ninety, he still carries his camera taking pictures wherever he goes. He has left his footprint all over Macau.
