Biography

Pang-Fei Mio was born in Shanghai. He graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Fujian University of Education and was influenced by Prof. Tou-Ba Xie and Master Su Hai. He settled in Macao in 1982 and went to Europe in 1986 to observe modern paintings there. Upon return, he became Vice-Rector and Professor of the Macao Academy of Visual Arts and Macao Polytechnic Institute.

Together with Carlos Marreiros and other artists they founded the Asso. of Friends of Culture to introduce modern art into Macao. He was invited to hold personal exhibitions in many places and his works are collected by museums worldwide.
