Carlos Marreiros

Carlos Marreiros is an award winning architect, urban planner, designer and artist with his cutting-edge creations widely recognized and internationally published. Born in Macau, he studied in Macau, Portugal, Germany and Sweden, before returning to Macau in 1983. He is regularly invited to exhibit and lecture at galleries and Universities in Europe, America and Asia. He is also an university professor and community leader, serving in many non-governmental organizations and governmental committees. He was bestowed with honorific decorations by Macau SAR Government’s Chief Executive, by two former Governors of Macau and by the President of the Republic of Portugal. Carlos Marreiros is the founder and partner of MAA – Marreiros Arquitectos Associados, E&W-DP Ltd and Albergue SCM – Creative Space.
